Lea Rabin Hall
The Lea Rabin Hall at the Yitzhak Rabin Center is named in honor of Lea Rabin, wife and partner to Yitzhak Rabin and a champion of arts and culture in Israel. The space commands a spectacular view of Tel Aviv, the city where Lea and Yitzhak Rabin made their home. The Hall, situated under the larger of the two winged roofs of the Center, is designed as a gathering place for visitors and for ceremonial and public events.Set diagonally to the north/south axis, its two northbound walls rise 20 meters high, and are complimented by two continuous glass walls to the south. Floating above is an undulating roof with skylights that allow sunlight to reflect upon it. The hall serves as the foyer of the Rabin Center Museum, as well as a lecture hall seating up to 340, or event space, seating up to 240 guests.
